My issue is stuck at the “Processing” stage—what do I do?
A: This happens occasionally when the iPad interrupts the processing of the issue. Typically restarting the app will resolve the issue. If not, you can always delete and re-install the app. You will never have to pay again for something you’ve already purchased, as long as you’re on the same account. On reinstall, you’ll see a box asking if you wish to restore all purchases—press “Yes.” If you miss that box, just tap “Missing Issues” in the Library list to get back access to all previously purchased issues and subscriptions.
How do I delete an issue?
A: In your Library list, you’ll see a button to the right of each issue that says “Archive.” Tap this button, and you will delete the issue from active storage on your device. At any time, you can always re-download those issues again later at no charge.
My app keeps “crashing.”
A: Unfortunately, some iPad 1 users have experienced problems with the app crashing. If this happens, you should be able to fix it by following these steps:
- Make sure your iPad is running the latest version of iOS software. In addition to new bells and whistles from Apple that you'll get to experience on your iPad, you'll also have better compatibility with the Time Out Chicago app.
- Once you've downloaded the latest software update from Apple, try reinstalling the Time Out Chicago app.
- If you still encounter problems, please contact us at email@example.com.
How do I reset my password?
A: Just click on the store button in the top navigation bar, then select "my account" in the top right-hand corner. There you will see an option to change your password or request a new password if you forgot yours.
I got an error message saying that this e-mail or log in is already registered.
