"Goshka Macuga: Exhibit, A."

Macuga's large-scale sculptures and other works reflect the Polish-born artist's interests in historical research, curatorial practice and the relationship between art and politics. Visitors may schedule meetings in her installation The Nature of the Beast (2010), which references the reproduction of Picasso’s Guernica that was hung at the U.N. as a deterrent to war—and covered up during Colin Powell’s 2003 speech to the Security Council about Iraq's so-called weapons of mass destruction.
