Art and Design | This weekend's late-breaking art events

In the Loop, "ARTwork 6" opens at SAIC's Sullivan Galleries, 5:30–7:30pm. The show, which closes Feb 1, presents more than 160 works by Art Institute of Chicago and SAIC staff.
In Bridgeport, the Artists of Eastbank host their "3rd Friday Open Studios" at the Bridgeport Art Center, 6–10pm.
Rational Park hosts a reception for "Grafts & Ruptures: New Work By Jordan Martins," 7–10pm, in Humboldt Park. Chicago artist Martins exhibits new collages and mixed-media works, and musician Ben Babbitt performs.
Evanston Art Center launches its "Faculty Exhibition"—which includes works in painting, sculpture and other media by more than 40 EAC instructors—from 1–4pm.
Julius Caesar in East Garfield Park screens Ben Fain's new film A Holy Order at 4pm. Fain discusses the film afterward with artist Dana DeGiulio.
In Pilsen, ACRE Projects hosts a reception for "Moving a Hole," 4–8pm. California-based 2012 ACRE summer residents Thelonious Elliott and Wray Herbert-King create a hole in the gallery and display photographs documenting other installations of the hole. The show closes Feb 4.
