Art and Design | This weekend's late-breaking free art events

Rogers Park's Mess Hall released the speaker lineup for its 2–5pm workshop, The Material Production of Cultural Spaces (II): Cooperatives. Presenters include Nicolas Lampert (Justseeds), Kathleen Duffy (Dill Pickle Food Coop), Sarah Black (Backstory Cafe and Social Center), Michael Carriere (ReciproCity) and Shelly McClone (Riverwest Cooperative Alliance, which includes the Public House, a cooperative bar).
From 7:30–8:30pm at the U. of C.'s Logan Center for the Arts in Hyde Park, David Schutter discusses his Logan Center exhibition "Rendition" with Logan Center curator Monika Szewczyk, artist and U. of C. professor Matthew Jesse Jackson, and Museum of Contemporary Art curator Dieter Roelstraete.
