Web Behrens: Well, the moment that some comics fans have long dreaded and others long anticipated has dawned: This month, DC Comics begins rolling out seven different prequels to the most successful comic book of all time, Watchmen. Later on, Jonathan and Brent, we can open the can of worms — or smash the snow globe? crack open the dog's skull? — that represents the ethics of the Before Watchmen project itself. But for starters, let's keep it civilized: Just us TOC Comics Shop geeks assessing the actual comics, not wading into the creator-versus-corporation debate.
