Before Watchmen: Nite Owl | Roundtable review

Posted in #Chicago blog by Web Behrens, Brent DiCrescenzo, Jonathan Messinger and Kris Vire on Jun 27, 2012 at 3:25pm

Web Behrens: Well, it starts out really well.

Along with Silk Spectre, Nite Owl is the only character with a legacy component, which means this mini-series has the most promising Before Watchmen ground to till. Writer J. Michael Straczynski gets to explore not only Dan Drieberg's story but Hollis Mason's story too. How did these two men from different generations became mentor-student? It's really the alternate-Watchmen-world version of Batman and Robin, and it should have been great.
