Before Watchmen: Ozymandias | Roundtable review

Web Behrens: Well, hallelujah: Ozymandias is actually a good comic book. Given the impressive talent behind the various Before Watchmen miniseries—a group of really excellent professionals, plus J. Michael Straczynski—I have to admit, I thought the comics would be better. But until now, only one of these great creators brought their A game. (That would be Amanda Conner, who knocked it out of the park with Silk Spectre.) My faith in the gods of sequential art was faltering until now. With Ozymandias, the fifth and final comic of Before Watchmen's first wave (the first issues of Doctor Manhattan and Rorschach don't drop until August), artist Jae Lee finally gives us a second title to enjoy.
