Mayne Stage Comedy Series unveiled
Chris Ritter, the former owner of the Lakeshore Theater in Lakeview and now a general manager at Mayne Stage in Rogers Park is sneaking Lakeshore-like programming into his current job. Ritter, who hinted to us in a 2010 interview that more comedic offerings were possible at the Mayne Stage, has made good on that notion with a new lineup of "alt" comedy kicking off in June. Take a look at this (mostly) applause-worthy lineup:
Doug Benson: June 9-10
Marc Maron: August 4-6
Reggie Watts: August 12-13
Hal Sparks: October 6-8
Kids in the Hall's Kevin McDonald and Scott Thompson: October 20-22
Maria Bamford: November 18-19
