Chicago Sketchfest 2013 lineup announced

The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival announced its full lineup Friday afternoon. The 12th annual festival happens January 3-13 at Stage 773 and adds a much-needed dose of laughter to our otherwise bitter winter.

We're particularly excited for the return of sketch comedy super troupe Sad on Vacation, a Chicago-based group of guys whose members (including Mort Burke, George McAuliffe, Conner O'Malley, Sam Weiner, Christ Witaske, etc.) have scattered to the coasts in recent years. The raunchy and far-out antics of New York-based FUCT likewise keep us on the edge of our seats; the group is returning for a third straight year. We've also got our eyes on 4 Days Late, Heavyweight, Assemblers, the tim&micah project, Barry Hite: Charisma Machine, Urlakis and Cusick, What Would Carol Do? and many others.
