From a post to a “Friends of the Joffrey Ballet Dancers” page on Facebook a few minutes ago:
“Late this afternoon, [the American Guild of Musical Artists, the dancers’ and stage managers’ union] and the Joffrey Ballet reached a tentative agreement. The Dancers will start taking class on Monday and Stage Managers will resume their normal schedule on Monday as well. The next step in the process is for the Dancers and AGMA’s Board of Governors to ratify the agreement. Congratulations to the Dancers and Stage Managers, and thanks to everyone for showing your support!”

Via e-mail this morning, AGMA confirmed the tentative agreement. “has been canceled. The regular season schedule will resume on Monday. The dancers are expected to ratify the new agreement later in the week, when all members of the company have returned to Chicago.”
