Talking limbs The dancer-made pieces that appear each summer on Thodos Dance Chicago’s New Dances bill range from concept-driven solos such as last year’s Dancer, Net (pictured) to full-fledged explorations of ensemble work. Nine creations emerge from the oven Friday 29 through Sunday 31, to music ranging from Sufjan Stevens to Shostakovich; guest artist Becca Lemme contributes a premiere for ten dancers on themes of absence, and Jessica Miller Tomlinson unveils an homage to David Byrne set to Talking Heads songs.
