Joffrey presents “Human Landscapes” at the Auditorium Theatre
The company opens its Chicago season with a three-piece set from contemporary masters Jirí Kylián, James Kudelka and Kurt Jooss.

Death becomes him Decrepit figures maniacally plan for impending destruction, while “Death” taunts the living amid the frenzy of a war-ravaged state. The Green Table, German choreographer Kurt Jooss’s World War I–inspired masterpiece, makes up a third of the Joffrey’s “Human Landscapes” program running Wednesday 17 through October 28.
