Dance seldom gets more pure than in the deeply musical compositions of Brooklyn’s Mark Morris Dance Group. Recent choreographies make visual two scores written during WWI: Satie cantata Socrate and a Villa-Lobos string quartet. Beethoven’s takes on folk songs from the British Isles receive the same treatment, performed live at the Harris Theater Friday 25–Sunday 27.
