"Science Storms" wins AAM awards

Congrats to the Museum of Science and Industry on the success of the exhibition "Science Storms," which has racked up accolades in its first year. The museum announced today that the physics exhibit won a handful of American Association of Museums awards, including the Excellence in Exhibition Award—sort of like the "best movie Oscar" of the museum world.
We agree that it was one of the top shows of 2010. And unlike many whiz-bang permanent exhibits, it continues to draw excited crowds post-hype. If you haven't seen it, go. Because it poses a lot of science-y questions with broad implications, it's great fun for adults.
