Just Go with It | Movie review
Adam Sandler’s puppy-dog persona is just about ready to be put down.

Danny (Adam Sandler, center) introduces his assistant Katherine (Jennifer Aniston, left) as his soon to be ex-wife Devlin to Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) in Columbia Pictures' comedy JUST GO WITH IT.
For those who like to read between the lines (a poor reason to see a Sandler comedy), there’s a potent female-anxiety drama lurking in this shrill romcom based on the phony-marriage farce Cactus Flower. Aniston—playing single mom and shy love interest—squares off against cameoing frenemy Nicole Kidman (remarkably self-deprecating) in a desperate battle of middle-aged fervor, all while physically luscious Decker looks on, amused. And what are they all getting so hot and bothered about? Sandler’s puppy-dog persona is just about ready to be put down. From its title on, this is entertainment for extremely lazy audiences.
