Drive Angry 3D
An undead Nicolas Cage can’t control his road rage.

There isn’t a lot of time to adjust to the skewed world of Drive Angry 3D, which opens on a car tearing away from the gates of Hell and leads straight into a shoot-out. The underworld fugitive, Milton (Cage), has escaped to track down the devil-worshipping cult that murdered his daughter and plans on sacrificing his granddaughter. His mission is replete with rollicking car chases and gun battles that send all manner of ammunition and shrapnel flying toward the screen. Lussier adds a gleeful cat-and-mouse chase to the mix with Fichtner as Hell’s accountant; the Tommy Lee Jones to Cage’s Harrison Ford, he’s intent on dragging Milton back to the pit. Sure, we’re never quite certain why Milton’s female companion (Heard) sticks with him as long as she does or how she’ll be able to explain the trail of carnage if she manages to survive, but questions like these are better asked of films that don’t have an undead Cage at the wheel.
