Chicago Park District Halloween Activities

Dream Reapers Haunted House
This 22-room house contains 14,000 square feet of gory scenes. Fancy animatronics and a cast of more than 40 actors attempt to scare your pants off. 1945 Cornell Ave, Melrose Park (dreamreapers.com). Fridays and Saturdays 7–11pm; Sun 14, Oct 18, 21, 25, 28–31 7–10pm. Through Oct 31. $15.
Dungeon of Doom Haunted House
The Ultimate Exorcist and Extreme Asylum are two of the house’s tried-and-true scares. New attractions include Skin’d Alive and the Barbed Wire Corridor. Frightmare Haunted House
In its 17th year, this haunted house debuts a new creepy campground theme. Think ghost stories and bullying boy scouts—okay, we made that last one up. 7759 S Harlem Ave, Burbank (708-598-8580). Navy Fear: Demons of the Deep
Angry spirits emerge from watery graves at this compound filled with the remains of those who perished at sea. Richardson Corn Maze
Wind through two of the world’s largest mazes, covering 33 acres. After you make it out, take a ride down the 50-foot slide and roast s’mores over the campfire. Statesville Haunted Prison (featuring City of the Dead)
