Celebrity astrologers the AstroTwins tell us what's in the stars for some local, well, stars.

DOUBLE VISION Can Tali (left) and Ophira (right) see into our future?

To boost their love lives, sisters Tali and Ophira Edut began charting the horoscopes of their crushes while attending the University of Michigan. Some 20 years later, they’ve moved on to helping bigwigs do the same—giving readings to Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Jessica Simpson and other celebs as hosts on shows like E! News and Total Request Live. This week, they come to the Lakeview Borders discuss their new book, The AstroTwins’ Love Zodiac. Giving Chicken-of-the-Sea-girl romance advice can’t be too tough, so we set the twins on a harder mission: Read the horoscopes of these notable locals in the week ahead.

RYAN DEMPSTER Cubs pitcher
Birthday: May 3, 1977

“Venus is retrograde in his 11th house. When there’s a retrograde planet, little slipups can happen. An accident might happen when Ryan’s goofing around a bit. His jokey personality could backfire. He needs to watch out for pulled muscles or injuries to his lower leg. The following week will get better, when the sun is in Taurus.”
Look out for the Cubs’ home opener on Monday 13. “He should focus on being a team player and be serious.”

BARACK OBAMA
Birthday: August 4, 1961
“Venus, which rules love, is in the sex part of his chart. He should spend time with Michelle; she needs her own stimulus package. The sun is in Aries, his ninth house—which is international relations. Maybe he should take a break from the economy and turn to Iraq and Afghanistan.”
Look out for all those press conferences. “This week, Leos should focus on privacy, intimacy and all things done behind closed doors.”

MARIA PAPPAS
Cook County treasurer
Birthday: June 7, 1949

“Venus—which is a big thing for everybody right now—is in her career house. Her past victories might be tapped [on a national level]—but she also needs to be squeaky clean. This is a time a career scandal can emerge.”
Look out for tax time on Wednesday 15, the taxman’s time in the limelight.

MADELINE NUSSER
Around Town editor
Birthday: October 1, 1981

“Venus is your ruling planet, so relationships are a big thing that week: Watch out for having standards that are too high or, on the flip side, cutting someone too much slack. That week is also time to dive in headfirst to a health and workout plan. Doing it by yourself is really hard for you; find a friend or trainer to give you a boost. ”
Look out for Thursday 9, when the full moon is in Libra. “Good time to take stock of yourself and shed any nonconstructive habits.”
