Charles Osgood is a thief. He stole our memories and put them in deft photos on display at the Chicago Tourism Center Gallery. In one image, a braces-clad teenager scarfs down an elote at Taste of Chicago. In another, boozy-eyed twentysomethings check out the view from the Signature Room. But we’ll give Osgood a break: Images the Chicago Tribune photog captured, accompanied by Trib columnist Rick Kogan’s colorful texts, give this exhibit a warm, cuddly, I-remember-when feeling that we only wish we could articulate with our crappy snap-and-shoot.
