Artistic Home leaves Clark Street home for Stage 773
The Artistic Home says it will depart its current home, the former Live Bait Theater space at 3912 N Clark Street, to become a resident company at the newly renovated Stage 773. The move from Clark to the 80-seat studio at Stage 773 expands capacity for the small Equity company. Managing director Kristin Collins said in a phone call this afternoon that she's also greatly excited by Stage 773's centralized box office service.
The Artistic Home's season will open October 2 with Eugene O'Neill's A Touch of the Poet, helmed by artistic director Kathy Scambiatterra. The season also includes Robert Anderson's Tea and Sympathy, directed by John Mossman, and Richard Greenberg's The American Plan, directed by Robin Witt. The company's Training Studio classes will move to a loft space at 4437 N Ravenswood Ave.
