Neo-Futurists to allow advance reservations for TMLMTBGB

A late-’80s cast of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind
In a move that may seem startling to longtime Neo-Futurists fans, the long-standing fringe troupe has announced it will begin accepting advance reservations for Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind.
Effective immediately at 7pm Sunday performances, 50 of the Neo-Futurarium's 149 seats will be available for advance purchase for $20, guaranteeing the purchaser general admission and allowing ticket holders to bypass the traditional first-come, first-serve lineup around the block before doors open a half-hour before showtime. The remainder of the Sunday seats will be sold via the familiar ritual of lining up early and, once inside, paying cash admission of $9 plus the roll of a six-sided die ($10 to $15 total). Friday and Saturday late-night performances of the long-running staple will remain pure unaffected.
Too Much Light marks its 23rd anniversary with special shows on the weekends of December 2 and 9, with alumni joining current ensemble members; that makes this a great time to revisit our oral history of the Neo-Futurists from the group's 20th anniversary in 2008. The Neo-Futurists also announced the addition of four new ensemble members: Brenda Arellano, Trevor Dawkins, Tif Harrison and Leah Urzendowski.
