Sister Act, Grinch tours headed to Chicago

Sister Act
Broadway in Chicago says it's added Sister Act and How the Grinch Stole Christmas to the 2012 subscription season. Les Misérables will also make a return engagement as an off-season special.
Sister Act, the musical adaptation of the 1992 Whoopi Goldberg film with a score by Alan Menken, opened on Broadway in 2011; it was nominated for five Tony Awards but came up empty-handed. The touring production will play the Auditorium Theatre November 13–December 12.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas, adapted from the Dr. Seuss book and 1966 television special, will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre December 5–16, preceded by Les Misérables, which returns for a three-week engagement November 14–December 2. The fall subscription series will go on sale in April.
