Lookingglass, Lifeline announce 2012–13 seasons
Lookingglass Theatre Company today announced the remainder of its 25th anniversary 2012–13 season. Joining the previously announced return of Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses is the Chicago premiere of Rajiv Joseph's A Bengal Tiger in the Baghdad Zoo, the 2010 Pulitzer finalist that starred Robin Williams as the title character in its Broadway bow. Heidi Stillman will direct for a January opening.
Following in April is ensemble member Christine Mary Dunford's new adaptation of Still Alice, from the novel by Lisa Genova. Genova, a neuroscientist, penned the story of a Harvard professor battling the onset of Alzheimer's. In June, David Schwimmer will direct the world premiere of Big Lake Big City, Keith Huff's comic noir following a Chicago detective.
