The two-man stage parody Potted Potter, which gives J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books the Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) treatment, will play the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place for five weeks this fall, Broadway in Chicago announced this morning.

The show, which condenses Rowling's seven Potter books into 70 minutes as performed in family-friendly British panto style by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, originated in London and is currently playing Off Broadway. The Chicago run is set to begin November 13; ticket prices and onsale date are yet to be announced. Audiences can get a "sneak peek" of the show in Broadway in Chicago's annual free Millennium Park concert, August 6 at Pritzker Pavilion.
