N9NE Steakhouse
This 12-year-old steakhouse still hasn’t lost its sparkle—mirrored tiles, pro athletes, and a neon-glowing Champagne and caviar bar are as posh as the menu. Lobster dots mashed potatoes, steaks are prime, and the catch of the day is fresh and well prepared

Fulton’s on the River
This Levy Restaurants spot is as much about the view as the food. Fortunately, both are worth a visit. The menu—equal parts seafood and steakhouse—is nothing out of the ordinary, but everything is of exquisite quality

Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush
In the world of steakhouses, Phil Stefani’s slick, cosmopolitan version is as refreshing as shrimp cocktail. If you’re up for steak, expect expertly prepared porterhouses, with a well-seasoned crust hiding tender flesh. But if it’s lighter fare you’re after, there’s solid surf to sub for the turf.

Saloon Steakhouse
Often overlooked, this spot hits every element with consistency—white coats on the waiters, autographed baseballs along the walls and butter-soft steaks

Keefer’s Restaurant
If you listen closely, you can hear Modest Mouse seeping softly through the dining-room speakers—the first sign that this isn’t your grandfather’s steakhouse. Chef John Hogan, also of Tavern on the Park, inflects the menu with an inescapable French sensibility
