Decked out in a spacesuit and backed by a towering sculpture that provided the canvas for an onslaught of slick projections, Amon Tobin brought his ISAM 2.0 show to the Congress Theater for an evening of mind-blowing audio-visual synchronicity. Manipulating his electronic compositions from a translucent command module set into the cubic confines of the show's set-piece, Tobin led the crowd on a sonic expedition that focused on tracks that were appropriately cinematic in their scope.
It's okay to be a show-off.
