Soundgarden to play Lollapalooza preview at the Vic
Good news and bad news for Soundgarden fans who can't wait to grunge it up at Lollapalooza.
The good news: the recently reunited band of notable 90s fame will perform at the Vic Theatre on Thursday, August 5, the day before Lollapalooza begins.
The bad news: it's not easy to get tickets. If you want be among the few to attend this little warm-up gig, you need to do the following:
1. Sign up to be a member at "Soundgarden World" .
2. While signing up, make sure to check the box that says "Include me in the August 5th Vic Theatre Chicago Drawing."
3. Hope, with all your might, that you are selected to purchase tickets. (Note that the contest does not award admission to selected fans; it only gives you the chance to buy tickets).
For those lucky few, enjoy the show. For all the rest, you'll have to wait three more excruciating days to see Soundgarden at Lollapalooza.
