In an attempt to give you a fighting chance at getting first dibs on tickets to your favorite gigs, our "Booking ahead" column is migrating from print to the Web, supplementing our already exhaustive list of upcoming shows online. Beginning with this post, we'll update the Audio File blog each Thursday with a complete roundup of the week's new concert announcements and updates. The shows listed below are either already on sale, or will be this weekend. Just as you may have seen in the print edition, the AA icon indicates gigs open to all ages, with the self-explanatory 17+ and 18+ rounding out the range of age restrictions.
