Retro songbird Rumer, born Sarah Joyce in Islamabad, Pakistan, is blowin up iTunes as we speak. The smooth-voiced contralto, whose first album, Seasons of my Soul, was released in the UK 15 months ago, played Lincoln Hall last night. Rumer's success is building: Burt Bacharach has already penned a song for the 32-year-old lounge-pop singer. At Lincoln Hall, she poured her heart out, but was all smiles in between tunes.
It's okay to be a show-off.
