The xx's last local stop was at the tony Chicago Theatre two years ago. This October, the Brits visit Chicago's dubstep capital, Congress Theater, summoning something more celestial than what usually fills the club's subwoofers. Hope they like late-night tacos. Also on the horizon, August brings the reinvigorated Guided by Voices to the Metro to help ring in the club's 30th birthday, Odd Future's Camp Flog Gnaw smashes into the Vic in September and Calexico follows up its recent turn at the Taste of Chicago with a date at Lincoln Hall.
