From the moment Cat Power's new tune "Ruin" debuted a couple months back we knew a tour couldn't be too far behind. Sure enough, the outfit's enigmatic Chan Marshall brings her intoxicating and occasionally kooky antics to the Riv October 28. Also returning that month is another well-received songbird, Regina Spektor, whose enchanting piano-pop fills the Chicago Theatre October 17. The Congress Theater's fall slate continues to grow, with new dates on the books from a few folks fresh off Lollapalooza: Justice, Miike Snow and the Weekend. Another Lolla vet, Tame Impala, visits the Metro in mid-November, while that club, in the midst of a 30th anniversary celebration, opens its doors to recent Pitchfork Fest guest Sleigh Bells in September.
