I sensed sort of a spiritual-approach-to-death theme in the tattoos we saw at North Coast Music Fest on Friday—though maybe that's just what our photographers' eyes were drawn too. But then the tattoo showing one stick figure blowing out the brains of another doesn't look very spiritual. I'm intrigued by that one—what is it trying to say? There's a map pointing out Chicago below the figures—maybe the tattoo-wearer is protesting our high murder rate? I guess I have my doubts.
It's okay to be a show-off.
