Spring Awakening Music Festival | Update
The days are getting warmer, the nights are getting longer, and this summer's open-air dance music festivals are really kicking it into high gear. In addition to the today's official announcement of additions to the lineup of the Wavefront Festival, Soldier Field's Spring Awakening Festival also has some big news of its own that it shared with TOC this morning.
Riding high off its after-party rollout last week—which sees top acts like Skrillex, A-Trak and Diplo at some of Chicago's top venues—Spring Awakening is getting even more ridiculous. Due to overwhelming demand for tickets, the fest is expanding and moving its main stage inside the stadium, making it not only the first dance-music fest at Soldier Field, but also the first one to party down inside it. An additional three stages, featuring a mix of international and local talent, will remain on the Stadium Green.
The festival, which takes place on Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, is also now offering single-day tickets, for those of you who can't—or dare not—tackle two full days of all-out raving.
