Chicago Folk & Roots Festival 2011 schedule and headliners

I love the Chicago Folk & Roots Festival as a great one stop for stocking up on my well of live rootsy/folky and increasingly worldly sounds—especially since I acquired my own little hippie rugrats—as it is truly one of the more family-friendly music fests in town. All of which makes me quite pleased to present this year's 14th Annual Chicago Folk & Roots Festival 2011 schedule.
This year's fest highlights are many, but I'll name a few that jump out at me: famed Jamaican vocal group the Abyssinians, Tuareg guitarist Bombino Moctar, circus/sax collab the Soul Sonic Sirkus featuring Mars Williams and eclectic Congolese hip-hopper Baloji (pictured, above). See the complete schedule after the jump.
