Perry Farrell’s early Lollapalooza memories
The fest organizer revisits 1991 for stories on a Body Count member gone missing and pumping iron with Rollins.

“It was a pleasure to hang out with Ice-T and get to know him and his posse. Although we were from [Los Angeles], we were from different parts of the city. Ice and those guys from Body Count were hilarious to hang out with and on the road, it was like kids in a candy store. They would scoop up all these chicks. And sometimes these chicks would disappear with them and go off on tour with them. Every morning, we’d get together and talk about what happened yesterday, talk about chicks, man. Then I found out that one of the Body Count guys was missing. He was missing ’cause he was on the run, running away from someone’s big brother or father. And he didn’t make it to the Cincinnati show, but he’s probably going to show up in Cleveland.”
