Remember when a good Tori Amos parody left you rolling on the floor? Oh yeah, that was the nineties, my friend. These days, the red-headed, sensualist plays her piano and sings her hits and cult faves for a dedicated following that may or may not remember the Lilith Fair. Was she on that, too? Not to make too much light, the classically trained Amos is a one of a kind in terms of pure technique, whatever you make of her tunes. If anyone can carry off a two-hour show featuring the Cure, Schubert and more backed by a few strings and manning an armada of keyboards, you know it just might be her. The Trib has a nice live review and complete set list.
