How good are you at hopping a fence? At dodging cars and security? We kid, we kid. (Seriously, don't ever do that. It ends in cuts and tears and awkward calls to the parents.) The elephant of local music festivals sold out faster than the Black Eyed Peas at a soda pop convention. Odd, as this looks like the softest lineup yet to us. But people pay for the experience—blazing sunshine, long walks in the park, short digestible band sets, mud dancing, sleeping in a hedge with friends. As much as having the Postal Service headline makes us scratch our head, there are, as always, fascinating gems—Kendrick Lamar, Cat Power, Beach House, Death Grips, Jessie Ware, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Disclosure, DIIV, Haim, Charles Bradley, Crystal Castles, Angel Haze, Foals, Baroness… Okay, who are we kidding, this in an embarassment of riches.
