The pizza at Tony Mantuano’s new venture is, according to Mantuano himself, unlike any Chicago has seen before: crisp and airy and light. For deep-dish lovers, that probably leaves a lot to be desired. No big—Bar Toma has plenty of other stuff to focus on, such as a mozzarella bar, Italian-style coffees and housemade gelato. 110 E Pearson St (312-266-3310).
