City Provisions Deli begins dinner service April 27

Bolstered by the robust crowds it attracts for brunch, City Provisions Deli is getting into the dinner game. The family-style, prix-fixe dinners, which begin April 27, will be on Fridays and Saturdays only.
Dinner is not necessarily a new thing for City Provisions and chef/owner Cleetus Friedman. The deli has always been open in the evening, and the catering arm of City Provisions has thrown one-off farm dinners and supper clubs for years. (In fact, just a few months ago, Time Out threw a dinner with them.) But this will mark the first time the deli has ventured into a separate dinner menu.
That said, with only 20 seats a night, dinner will still be somewhat exclusive. The rest of you will have to hit up the deli counter.
City Provision's dinners are $50, and beer, wine and cocktails are available. Make a reservation by calling Noelle: 773-293-2489.
