The folks behind Chicago Firehouse have taken star chef Kendal Duque and installed him in what they’re calling a “great American tavern.” The feel is 18th-century New England inn, but the fare—octopus flatbread; pork cheeks with mascarpone polenta—is at least early 2000s. 1416 S Michigan Ave (312-663-1278).
