The Boarding House 720 N Wells St.
Master sommelier and Check, Please! host Alpana Singh left Lettuce Entertain You to open a three-level, wine-centric restaurant in River North. Bub City 435 N Clark St.
Jerrod and R.J. Melman reinvigorate an old Lettuce brand with this country bar and barbecue shack. But they’re not doing it alone: They’ve partnered with Joe’s Bar owners Ed Warm and Tom DiSanto for help booking live music, and with bartender Paul McGee to help with the bourbon-heavy drinks program.
