This is my personal favorite category, since it honors new talents that have made names for themselves all around the city, everywhere from a wine bar (Zoe Schor) to a communal-dining tasting menu. Sadly, we can't give this award to all of the nominees, however, so it's up to you to choose. The nominees for Breakout Chef of the Year are:
