Sauce and Bread Kitchen | New restaurant
This is what happens when fresh bread and hot sauce combine.
Published: March 7, 2013
Crumb Chicago (a bread bakery) and Co-op Sauce (makers of pickles, salsas and hot sauces) collaborate on this café, which serves simple foods like house-brined turkey sandwiches and house-baked crumpets with pimento-cheddar spread. No booze yet, but the café (which is open Thursdays–Sundays) promises a fierce BYO-vodka Bloody Mary bar on the weekends. 6338 N Clark St (773-216-5580, coopsauce.com).
