CLASS ACT When Bar 1 Events acquired the space for its new bar Fion, the owners knew right away it couldn’t be like their other bars. It was too small to house the number of televisions that their sports bars (McGee’s, Duffy’s, Redmond’s, etc.) do, not to mention the rowdy crowds those televisions attract. So they focused on taking cues from their quieter bar, Maeve. The result is a loungey wine and martini bar, with marble floors, mocha-colored wood walls and a focus on boutique wines and classic cocktails.
