Longman & Eagle hosts What’s Happening!! pig roast and soul dance party today

We seemed to have entered the late-summer, early-fall pig roast season here in Chicago. Today, Sunday, September 4, Longman & Eagle combines an outdoor roast with the Windy City Soul Club (my bandmate Ben, I should note, runs said DJ night) monthly dance party at What's Happening!!. The free, outdoor block party prom takes place 4pm–10pm on Schubert at Kedzie, adjacent to the Longman & Eagle restaurant and inn. Food and drink from the Longman & Eagle crew will cost ya, the "big plate" at the roast is $14. For a taste (of the music on tap) listen to or download the Windy City Soul Club summer mix for free.
