This bastion of solid, authentic Vietnamese eats nails consistency and flavor. We like to start with the tiny beef sausages wrapped in la lot leaves, as well as lotus root salad, a sprightly mix of crunchy lotus root and rau ram, also called hot mint. Entrées like catfish in a clay pot and chicken taro yellow curry match with stir-fried water spinach. Wash it down with chanh (housemade limeade soda).
