Determined to intertwine the eating and drinking experience, chef Stephen Dunne focuses on elevated bar food at this off-the-beaten-path West Town spot. Some of his food (tempura green beans, a Wagyu burger) acts merely as sponges for the impressive beer list. But the fish-and-chips is crisp and flavorful, and the gravlax salad with house-cured salmon is light and inspired. The ultimate beer and food pairing, though, comes at dessert, with the addictive Black & Tan Float, a root-beer float made with Guinness ice cream.
