When they opened their multi-restaurant food court in Wheeling's Westin Hotel back in 2007, Rick Tramonto and Gale Gand upped the ante for dining in the 'burbs. Now, the couple who launched Trio and Tru, respectively, are no longer involved with this project, but the name and the game have both stuck. A traditional steakhouse in most ways, Tramonto Steak & Seafood isn't rewriting the formula. Instead it offers solid steaks that benefit from toppings like blue cheese or horseradish, though the truly traditional carnivore may want to forgo all the extras and show up on Thursday, Friday or Saturday for prime rib with unlimited popovers.
