Walk away from the cafeteria-style lines at Water Tower Place’s FoodLife and toward this new sister concept and you'll find, well, more cafeteria-style lines. Self-service options include a palatial salad bar and a cooler with everything from fresh fruit to sad-looking shrink-wrapped sandwiches (build a better version at the full-service sandwich counter). A well-stocked wine room, two freezers of local fare—chiefly Lou Malnati’s pizza and Wow Bao—and little goodies everywhere (Nicole Greene’s Truffle Truffle caramels, we’re looking at you) let you grab something to take home.
