Rarely do we get to compare the North Shore to Brooklyn, but step into this strip-mall restaurant and you’ll swear you’re in Crown Heights. Standard items include curry-laden shawarma in fluffy pita, grilled kebabs and thick-cut french fries, but the real kicker is that this place is kosher and observes Shabbat by closing early on Friday and not reopening until Sunday. This explains the frenzy of frum diners, standing in line among enlarged photographs of the Western Wall.
